Admittedly, I got into CC pretty late in the podcast game. I only knew about the show from Hat being a guest on The Angry Chicken podcast, which was my first ever podcast (which Hat is now a host on). I don’t consider myself a competitive Hearthstone player but a very involved hearthstone player. As such, this show is great for the competitive insight you can’t really get from playing the game yourself at a casual level. Hat, Edelweiss and Botticus go into great depth about cards, archetypes and tournament meta. I’ve never played a game as long as I have with hearthstone and as long as it keeps being updated, I’ll be a fan of the game and a listener of the podcast. A couple years back, I was driving an hour to an hour and a half to and from work. I listened to just about every hearthstone related podcast on iTunes and still didn’t have enough to fill the time. Since then, my commute has been cut to about 15-20 mins, so my selection had to be reduced because there simply wasn’t enough time for everything. Well, I’m happy to say Coin Concede made the cut! I’ve always been one to joke with the wife that I’m going to be “one of those guys” (I say about you, as I listen to your show) one day. She laughs, I laugh, the dog laughs. It’s a good time. But really, you guys make things very relate-able and give me confidence that I could and/or should do it someday. I’ve dabbled in streaming and play hearthstone to “dad legend” almost every month with the limited time I choose to invest at the moment. I’d love to hear more about how “someone like me” aka: everyday dude that is capable of being really good if I invest the time, could make that transition from casual player to Coin Concede levels (and beyond?). Aside from that, keep on keeping on and I will continue to tune in!

Coin Concede is one of the best Hearthstone podcasts on the market. All the hosts are incredibly knowledgeable and also have fun with the show. Kenny is fantastic as the lead host. He is great at setting up the other hosts and playing to their strengths, all while keeping the show moving. Cinder, Appa, and Ridiculous Hat all bring high-level expertise but are able to break things down in ways to help you learn the game better, whether it's through specific decks/cards or just overall mindset on how to approach ladder. All four guys do a great job of complimenting each others' strengths and personalities (Cora too! I miss her on the show but am so happy for her success as a caster). While the podcast itself is great, their Discord server is what really brings it all together. After listening to a few other hearthstone podcasts I started listening to coin concede when one of the hosts was a guest on a different show. This has quickly become my favorite hearthstone podcast as the audio is clear the speakers are knowledgable and best of all aren't playing hearthstone while attempting to podcast. The content can be a bit heavy on the competitive side, which is fine, but this means it isn't always the most approachable material for new or casual players.
